Liam Thau
Associate
Liam represents the interests of U.S. and internationally-based primary insurers in the areas of Professional Liability/ E&O, Management Liability/ D&O, First Party, Employment Practices Liability, and Cyber/ Tech E&O. Liam resolves claims promptly through the monitoring of underlying incidents, preparation of coverage analyses, as well as negotiation and frequent coordination with defense and breach counsel, outside vendors, and other professionals in developing defense, resolution and loss containment strategies. His practice also includes the drafting of policy wordings and endorsements.
In law school, Liam was an executive board member on the Pace Law Review where he mentored junior members in connection with their citation practice and case note drafting. He also participated in numerous student organizations geared toward his interest in intellectual property law and sports media and entertainment. Liam received his J.D. from Pace Law in 2022, graduating magna cum laude.
During his time at Tufts University, Liam was a member of the Varsity Football team and received multiple awards recognizing his athletic contribution on the field and dedication to the program.
