Andrews Alves-Barros

Andrews represents the interests of U.S. and internationally-based primary insurers in the areas of commercial liability, general liability, and cyber insurance. Andrews' practice includes the monitoring of underlying litigation and incidents and providing coverage analyses, frequent interaction with defense and breach counsel, outside vendors, and other professionals in developing defense, resolution and loss containment strategies; and negotiating and achieving resolution of claims. His practice also includes the drafting of policy wordings and endorsements.
At Pace Law School, Andrews was the Vice president for the Corporate Law society, and the Treasurer for
the Latin American Law Students Association. Andrews was also a member of the Pace Advocacy Honor Board, and was a competitor on six teams. During Law School, he completed an internship with the Brooklyn District Attorney's Office, in the Frauds Unit.
Andrews is a native speaker of Portuguese and Spanish.
